Scripture: Matthew 21:9b
This week, as we journey through Holy Week in a much different way than we normally would, we invite you to take a moment each day as a family to spend some time Walking with Jesus. Each day, you will be invited to watch, listen, read, do, and pray together along the journey. We invite you on Monday to create an altar at home and each day, we will have things to do that will center around the altar. This can simply be a small table, your mantle, a nook in a room that you can all see and gather around.
If your time restricted to home has become too structured and you just can’t tolerate much more screen time in general, we offer the simple gift of intentionality while gathered at the table together to eat. Holy Week, and Maundy Thursday in particular, is when we commemorate the institution of Holy Eucharist as established when Jesus broke bread and drank wine with his closest companions in what we call The Last Supper.
